Weddings at Pawleys Island Church
Amanda and Justin’s wedding at Pawleys Island Church was far from overdue! The couple has dated for over ten years and quickly decided it was time to tie the knot! Pawleys Island Community Church is located just coast of Pawleys Island, South Carolina. This one-of-a-kind church offers a wooden interior, vaulted beams, and beautiful natural light; you can’t go wrong. The chapel is both beautiful inside and out.
Amanda was legit one of my easiest brides ever, she hired me just weeks before her “pop-up” wedding, and luckily I was available! My husband works with her husband {ekkk!!!}, and I was honored when she trusted me to capture this day, “I think we just became besties!”.
This cracked me up:
From the Bride: We first met ten years ago, when Justin started working for the same company as me. Let’s say that no matter how many times I told him/showed him that I wasn’t interested, the poor kid just couldn’t take a hint 🤣. Fast forward to today, and I’m so glad he just wasn’t “picking up what I was putting down.” 😊
How he proposed:
Three years ago, I came home from last-minute shopping (I was leaving to go to Maryland for Christmas the next day). When I walked in the front door, our two Golden Retrievers had bandanas that said, “Mommy, will you marry Daddy?” Then he got down on one knee and said, “I like hanging out with you. Will you marry me?” 🤣🤣🤣. So, I always will randomly say to him, “I like hanging out with you too, kiddo!” 🤣🤣.
