Emily & Sean made it wedding official last weekend at beautiful Sunnyside Plantation!
The couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Murrells Inlet marsh. Guests were escorted by golf cart to the ceremony, where they “entered” the ceremony location by walking through antique wooden doors, flanked with fresh, oversized, floral arrangements. Sounds of a guitar filled the air and set the tone of this special occasion. The sun danced off the water and glistened through the Live Oak Trees dripping in Spanish Moss. It was truly breathtaking!
It was important to Emily & Sean that the wedding reflected their relaxed and fun personalities. They genuinely wanted their loved ones to have an incredible experience and memories that would last a lifetime! …And boy did Gigi Noelle Events deliver! Kelly, Event Planner, created a welcoming and romantic look that captured the couple’s comfortable southern feel. High top tables, lounge areas, and sit down seating accommodated everyone. Guests mingled while eating delicious southern comfort style food {the shrimp & grits was aaaaa-mazing} and sipped cocktails throughout the night. The trees twinkled with chanterlears & string lights as family and friends danced the night away with Emily & Sean.
Everyone is sure to look back this night and say “Wow, what an incredible wedding”!
From the Bride:
We met the summer of 2012-after our freshmen years of college in Ocean Isle Beach. We both worked at the Ocean Isle Fishing Center and after several weeks of trying to get him to talk to me, he finally did…with a little liquid encouragement. 🙂 We were inseparable after that with only a month left of summer…then he would go back to Georgia for school and I would head back to Raleigh for school at NC State. We did long distance for 4 more years but always had our summers together at Ocean Isle Beach to look forward to. Our favorite tradition is going to the Oyster Festival here at OIB and that’s the weekend he proposed…on the boat at sunset, another one of our favorite things. Afterwards all of our friends and family were in town (another surprise!) and we celebrated at the Oyster Festival all weekend long.
Our relationship is so easy and fun. We spent so much time apart that we just truly cherish getting to be together now. Our favorite things are going to grab a drink and watch the sunset, having Sunday Funday on the boat, being around friends and family, and taking trips to new places.
