I have been looking forward to sharing this wedding ever since I drove away from Georgetown that night… Emma Gray and Taylor got married at the Kaminski House — one of those venues that just does something to you the moment you pull up. All that old Southern charm, the waterfront, the live oaks draped in Spanish moss… it hits different. If you’re not from South Carolina, put it on your list. It is stunning!!!!
“Although we both grew up in Laurinburg, North Carolina, and attended the same church, our paths didn’t truly cross until years later.”
Emma Gray and Taylor grew up in the same town, went to the same church, their brothers played soccer together — and somehow they never really crossed paths. Then Christmas 2021 happened. They both came home for the holidays, reconnected, and ended up snowed in together on a mountain after Taylor tried (and maybe failed a little?!?) to teach Emma Gray to snowboard. Late nights, good conversation, nowhere to go. That’s where it started!!!
Fast forward to March 2025 — Taylor takes Emma Gray to the beach…. And there on Ocean Isle Beach, he asked her to marry him. Then he surprised her with both families and their closest friends waiting at the Fish Company to celebrate. For a guy who, by her own admission, doesn’t typically plan — he absolutely nailed it!!!! 😜

A Kaminski House Wedding
Now…. Back to A Kaminski House Wedding… We had been keeping an eye on the weather all week because, as any South Carolina summer bride knows, the sky does whatever it wants down here. There was some real rain anxiety leading up to it. But y’all. It was perfect!!!!
The heat was real… The details were beautiful. And her people? Her family and friends came to party!! They danced the entire night. Like, the whole thing. From the first song to the last, that dance floor was full and alive and exactly what a wedding should feel like!

Emma Gray told me she loves pictures and just wanted every special moment captured throughout the night. That’s my kind of bride — and that’s exactly what we did!! The Kaminski House gave us so many gorgeous backdrops, the light was dreamy, and honestly the energy of their people made my job so easy.. BOOM!
