This past weekend, we had the absolute joy of photographing Trey and Raina’s wedding at the gorgeous Wedding at 21 Main Events – North Beach Plantation. The weather!!? Absolutely STUNNING! One of those days where everything felt magical from start to finish!
Trey and Raina’s love story is super cute!! They met in North Myrtle Beach during the summer of 2020. Raina was visiting South Carolina, getting ready for a fun karaoke night with one of her besties. But when they got to the bar, instead of karaoke, Trey’s band was playing. So cute right!??! Lucky twist of fate, right!!? After the show, Trey walked up with his classic line, “Do you want to do a shot of Fireball?” The rest is history!
Their wedding day was so full of emotion and fun surprises. Trey even sang a beautiful song to Raina at the reception, which was a sweet and personal surprise. I can’t get over Trey’s son, Cash—he gave the cutest best man speech, talking about how Raina gives the best warm hugs! And their first look was so sweet, I love a good first look on a wedding day!
Wedding Surprises
And talk about dedication.. Raina’s best friend, who had just had a baby, couldn’t be there in person but still managed to be part of the wedding party. She sent in a sweet recording that had everyone (yes, even me!) in tears. Now that’s true bestie love! Oh, and the bridal party, it was a big one, but they were all so awesome, yes, even the guys!!

As a photographer, 21 Main Events at North Beach is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues! (AND SPA!!) Everything you need for a stunning wedding is right there, destination or local. The newly updated, gorgeous venue to the incredible food that always wows guests – so good!! The staff at 21 Main are some of the best in the business—they take such amazing care of their couples, (and photographers!!) always going above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect. It truly feels like my home away from home, and every time I get to shoot there, I know it’s going to be an unforgettable day for both the couple and me! YAY!!
