The love story of Rikki and Austin began in 2016 when they crossed paths through coworkers at the EQL at Coastal Carolina University. Altogether Fate intervened, and Austin found himself teaching Rikki how to solder electrical wires. A task she charmingly convinced him to handle for her. Their first date, albeit a tad awkward. Setting the stage for a romance that defied all expectations, and the rest, as they say, is history.

On New Year’s Eve in 2019, Austin orchestrated a magical proposal at Brookgreen Gardens during Nights of 1000 Candles. Surrounded by the enchanting lights.
