First off… can we talk about how absolutely stunning Rikki looks !?!?! This was one for the books, I mean look at all the pretty colors !!!
In 2016, Rikki and Austin met through coworkers at the EQL at Coastal Carolina University. Austin was tasked to teach Rikki how to solder electrical wires, so of course she convinced him to do it for her. Shortly after, they had their first (totally awkward) date and the rest is history!
Austin fell in love with Russell and Gizmo, so they had to get more fur babies, Ziggy, Cypress, River and Remi. They’ve built their love on animals, beer, and shark-tooth hunting.
On New Year’s Eve, 2019, Austin took Rikki to Brookgreen Gardens for Nights of 1000 Candles. They enjoyed the lights and sat in front of their favorite spot in Oak Alley. Austin then surprised Rikki by (finally) asking her to marry him. She said YES!
The Waccamaw River and all things water are a special place for this couple. Both worked in marine science and met because of their shared interest. Wachesaw Plantation gives them that special place to join their families together in front of the Waccamaw River. They can’t imagine their wedding without it!
Lilly Pulitzer is incorporated into their wedding theme because of their love for bright and colorful things… Lilly prints !! The couple wanted everyone to share their happiness and feel as warm and bright as Lilly Pulitzer designs make you look ! Rikki’s mom made the groomsmen Lilly Ties for this special day.. how cool is that ?!!
Shout out to these amazing vendors who made this day soooooo perfect for this awesome couple !
