This recent sunset session is now a favorite of mine… Four kids, dad, and one very patient mom who just wanted “one good photo”. (Spoiler: she got soooo many good ones!!!! As you can see!)
We met about 40 mins before golden hour when the light was warming up… and the fun was slowly sinking below the horizon. Then the giggles started, the toddlers took off, and the beach became their playground. But that’s when the memories happened. The in-between moments, the belly laughs, the sandy toes… those are what tell the story of their family, and that’s what it’s all about!

As a Myrtle Beach family photographer, I’ve learned that it’s never about the perfect pose or the most polished location. It’s about the memories that unfold naturally. The way dad swung the youngest around until they both couldn’t stop laughing. The way mom’s face softened when all four kids piled into her arms. That’s the stuff you’ll treasure long after the perfect shot fades from your phone screen.
