The couple exchanged their vows at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and headed to Sunnyside Plantation for the party!!! They absolutely love the magnificent oak trees and Spanish moss of Sunnyside Plantation, as it looks over the marsh and is simply amazing!!
Today, I am SOOOOOO excited to share a beautiful love story with you!!! It all started at a USC Baseball tailgate where Maria and Kyle’s love story began!
The love story!
Their story began when a mutual friend tried to play a matchmaker and set them up. Maria initially dismissed the idea, but everything changed when they met! Kyle appeared with a huge smile, jumping out of a pickup truck and full of energy!! Maria couldn’t resist his charm and immediately asked her friends about him, only to discover that he was the guy they wanted Maria to get with!!!
Throughout the night, Maria did everything she could to catch Kyle’s attention. It worked, as they bonded over shared interests, and their friends could feel the immediate connection between them!!
After the tailgate, they had a late-night adventure together at Walmart, buying drinks and snacks for the after-party. Maria realized then and there that she was into Kyle. They spent the entire night talking and getting to know each other, only wanting more!! Yay!!
Sunnyside Plantation Weddings
Despite living two hours apart in South Carolina at that time, their love conquered the distance. They would take turns visiting each other on weekends, cherishing every moment together. Eventually, Kyle’s job took him to Myrtle Beach, and Maria, ever supportive, happily moved with him!!!!!!!
Little did Maria know, Kyle had a surprise waiting for her. With their families gathering for what she thought was a Fourth of July celebration, Kyle got down on one knee and proposed to Maria. It was a dream come true. Kyle couldn’t have chosen a better day to propose, as it is his favorite holiday!!!!!!!!
