Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club Wedding

Hey everyone! Let me spill the tea on this wedding I went to—it was seriously something else and an amazing start to the 2024 wedding season!! We were at Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club Wedding in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and let me say, it was stunning!!

But before I dive into the wedding day magic, let me give you a bit of background on the couple. So get this—they actually met while volunteering at Miracle League, working with kids with disabilities! I know, right? SUPER SWEET!!

Fast forward a bit, and they both ended up at Coastal Carolina University, playing soccer for their respective teams. During a Miracle League event where they were both volunteering again, things really kicked off! He went out of his way to help her clean up, and let me tell you, she was low-key freaking out that he was talking to her! But at the time, they were both seeing other people, so all they could be was friends. *tears!*

Summer came and went, and they found themselves back at school for another semester. Their friend groups overlapped, so they ended up hanging out quite a bit. She eventually found herself single again and was low-key excited to tell him about it. And wouldn’t you know it, not long after that, he was suddenly single too!! Talk about timing – YAHOO!

Okay, back to the wedding. Leading up to the big day, we were all a bit worried about the weather. The forecast wasn’t looking too great, and we were crossing our fingers that it wouldn’t rain on the parade. But you know what? The clouds cleared, the sun came out, and it was like the universe was on our side!!! I mean, PERFECT!

The bride looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress and the groom? Well, he couldn’t stop staring at her. You could feel the love between them—it was adorable. And the bridal party—they were on fire! There were speeches that had us all in tears {Thanks, Owen} and a special song by the Bride’s sister during the father, daughter dance. Yes, she actually sang, and it was beautiful!

Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club Wedding was like something out of a dream! The flowers were blooming and with the new renovations, it was even more beautiful than I remembered!

Overall, it was just the best day ever. It was such a great way to kick off the wedding season, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it! Thank you to everyone who played a big part in Gabby and Wes’s Pawleys Island, South Carolina Wedding! You are STUNNING!
