As a photographer, it’s important to keep up with the “3 T’s” {training, trends, and technology}. Magnolia Photography Workshop
I recently attended the Magnolia Workshop {Jana and Michele} and have had some time to reflect on this amazing experience.
For me, the biggest take-a-way from the workshop: no detail is too small ! From the beautiful flower arrangements, to the stunning “bride and groom” models, to the historic venue, each stand-a-lone piece collectively created the most beautiful event.
Talking about how no detail is too small, I’m in awe of the letterpress invitations, table numbers, place cards and napkin rings created by Charlotte + Lily. They used LEATHER {yes, leather} for each piece!! I’ve never seen anything like this before and it was incredible. This husband and wife team seriously puts everything they have into each project that comes out of their shop. The design was created by, Laura {owner and designer}. She hand mixed a custom ink color to perfectly pair with the styled shoot’s palette and décor. The invitations were pressed on Charlotte + Lily’s antique Heidelberg by Joe {head of production}. It was a work of art.
This styled shoot took place at The Governor Thomas Bennett House in Charleston, South Carolina. It’s historic architectural charm and beautiful gardens are breathtaking! Be sure to check it out. It might just be the perfect venue for your upcoming wedding day!
Big thank you to all the wonderful vendors for making this shoot more than I could have ever dreamed of!
