Not only did Tamara and Meko have mutual friends, they also lived around the corner from each other. Tamara’s sister was getting ready to marry Meko’s first cousin in a month and they were both going to be in the wedding! After the wedding the couple was inseparable.
Meko and Tamara were both in college. He was pursuing a career in digital media. She was pursuing a career in surgical technology. After graduation, they celebrated with a cruise to the Bahamas. While sitting with a group of engaged couples they went around the tables telling their stories about how they got engaged. When it was Meko’s and Tamara’s turn {and they were not engaged!!} Meko pulled out a ring and got down on one knee! Of course, Tamara, said “yes”!
Before they began to plan their wedding day, the couple decided to continue their education and make great strides in their respective careers. Tamara went back to school to become a Registered Nurse. Meko completed his MBA. After they both successfully completed their degrees, Tamara and Meko, dove head first into planning every detail of their big day!

The couple picked the Grande Dunes Ocean Club for their wedding venue because it is so beautiful. It doesn’t get much better than the stunning views from the terrace overlooking the ocean! The entire club has a unique ambience and the staff is phenomenal. They wanted a place that felt intimate but yet classy and this was the perfect place.
The couple is looking to purchase their first home together this year. They also plan to travel to Italy and Greece in September!
