Seriously, you cannot look through their wedding photos without smiling.
These two have the best energy, and it rubbed off on everyone around them all day long. Their friends, their families, the wedding party — everyone was ready to have a good time, and I feel like you can see that in every single photo!!
Anna and Joe celebrated their wedding at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, and it was such a beautiful day from beginning to end.
The Dunes Club is right on the ocean, so you get that Myrtle Beach coastal feel without losing the classic wedding look. It is seriously such a pretty place to photograph.
And Anna looked AMAZING!!
Her dress was Essense of Australia from Tiffanys Bridal in Richmond, Virginia, and it was perfect on her. Add in the florals by Kelly with Little Shop of Flowers and the dark teal, light pink and hot pink color palette, and everything came together so beautifully. The flowers brought in so much color without taking over the whole look, and Kelly absolutely killed it.
One of my favorite things about these two, though, is how their story started.
Joe proposed on a beach near where they went to school. Anna thought they were meeting his friends at a brewery before heading to a concert, but Joe had a completely different plan. Her friends were already at the beach setting everything up and taking photos, and he completely surprised her.
She had NO idea.
And honestly, Joe nailed that one!
Fast forward to their wedding day and they were back by the ocean again — this time getting married surrounded by all of their favorite people.
Stunning & Brilliant Events did an amazing job as always keeping everything moving and bringing the whole day together. I have worked with them before and always love seeing their team on a wedding day.
The staff at The Dunes Club was also incredible. A beautiful venue is one thing, but having a team that takes care of everyone and keeps the day running smoothly makes such a difference.
And then came the PARTY!!
DJ Jake kept that dance floor going literally until the very end of the night. Nobody wanted to stop, which honestly felt pretty fitting for Anna and Joe. Their entire day had that same happy, fun energy from beginning to end.
Anna and Joe, thank you for letting me be there to photograph all of it. You two make it almost impossible NOT to smile around you, and I think these photos show exactly that.
