Hailing from Colorado, Janelle and Joshua opted for a destination wedding in sunny Myrtle Beach. Despite never having visited before, the allure of the Ocean Club Grand Dunes captured their hearts. The decision to tie the knot in Myrtle Beach was a perfect blend of keeping it in the states. While indulging their love for the beach.
Post-wedding plans for the couple include focusing on their careers and the exciting anticipation of expanding their family in the coming years. A trip to Greece in 2017 adds an extra touch of wanderlust to their journey together.
The wedding itself was a showcase of DIY creativity, with flowers taking center stage. Ordered in bulk and skillfully designed by Terri at Lowes, the blooms added a touch of natural beauty to the day. The cake, surprisingly, was a creation of Lowes Food as well, featuring a nude-colored buttercream with a rustic texture adorned with amnesia roses and white peonies.

The guest book added a unique and personal touch to the celebration. Handmade in Croatia and designed exclusively for Janelle and Joshua, it featured a vintage fountain pen and inkwell dating back to the early 1900s. Every detail, from the décor to the intimate touches, reflected the couple’s personalities and the warmth of their love.
