Zac and McKayla meet behind her parents house in the woods while riding four wheelers when they were 14 and 15 yrs old. McKayla came popping out of the woods to find her brother who was also back there when she caught Zac’s eye! The newly weds picked Pawleys Plantation for their wedding because it had the simple Southern elegance they was looking for, and provided everything in one place! It is a simply beautiful venue and amazing staff to work with!

The newly weds went to Tennessee for the honeymoon because they both love the mountains and fall is their favorite season!! They enjoyed their honeymoon in a cabin for a week and rode four wheelers, and well went out to eat ALOT! Yes!!

The Wedding didn’t have much of a theme, but they went with a Southern Class! They wanted to reflect on the past 8.5 years they shared together with memories and good times!

Zac always said he wouldn’t be nervous or cry on their wedding day! Ha!! Who was he trying to fool! On Oct 8th 2017 McKayla’s dad came in the suite and said Zac is sooooo Nervous and wasn’t talking much. When he first saw her and dropped his head and cried, McKayla knew she was right where she needed to be!

This couple is a special couple being that I worked with them for over a year! I watched them plan a wedding to the moments they walked down the isle! The couple is sweet, genuine and pretty amazing! It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do, the couple will make you feel like you have known you for years! The bridal party was nothing but amazing… as well as their hilarious speeches.. you could tell the connection between them all was very solid and strong ! Their shared their emotionalI first dance to the wonderful Brad Paisley “Then”. I was honored to be part of such a special day and I look forward to working with this couple for ever and ever!!!!
